Cat Welfare Society's AGM

I attended the Cat Welfare Society (CWS)'s AGM last evening.
You can read about it on Dawn's blog.

Like the other events, it was a good opportunity to meet and talk to people who care for the community cats. It is always encouraging and inspiring to hear people sharing their experiences or showing their support.

Regarding the annual report, I wonder if it is necessary for all members to receive a hardcopy? Cos it surely must cost something to be printed, which could be better used for the cats. I'm sure if its explained to members that the cost saved in printing will be channelled to the cats, they'll be happy.

Those who would like to read it could be given a softcopy, or it could be made available online at the CWS website for those interested to print and read. Just a suggestion! :)

Hi, Esther. Thanks for the suggestion. At the moment, this may be hard to implement as I understand that quite a number of CWS members do not have Internet access. It is also good to have copies of the AGM report handy when CWS staff meet people from the town council, etc. These people may not visit CWS website.
