This evening. I met this nice girl, Esther who has offered to help Cat Welfare Society (CWS) to make some cross-stitch bookmarks. We had dinner @ Subway, Far East Plaza and she gave some ideas on how to make the samples she earlier made more attractive. She is also very nice to give some cross-stitch material for me to experiment some designs before we start to make some bookmarks and see if they can help to raise some funds for CWS. This is the second time I met her and we had lots to talk about. Cats, work and parts of our lives :)

THe one on top is nice and simple. Cos of the small surface and the importance of the message being clear, simple straightforward designs are one way to go, esp since simple designs will take less time to make. Perhaps instead of the love for community cats, there can be a 'call' of sorts for people to help them, like "save a life!" or something or something on sterilisation or how they are living creatures too, etc. How much is she selling them for? U can book one for me. :)
We haven't decide on the price yet. Still at the experimental stage as we need to figure out how to make the bookmark with a stiff back. Thanks for your support! :)
