Zap has been with us since 1 Sep 04. She should be around 3 yrs old and that's considered old for a hamster. She has become rather skinny and everyday, when she is lying there still, I will be worried if she is still alive. But this old girl is still strong for her tiny frame and a few times when she will sink her teeth into my finger without hurting me. Most of the times when she is sleepy or sound asleep, she would allow me to stroke her gently.
