A good article about animal abuse cases - this appeared on the Sunday Time's Classified. I agree with the writer that the seriousness of such cases shouldn't be determined by whether the abuser is likely to harm humans in later stages but rather the act of cruelly inflicting pain and killing the animals is wrong.
