Angel & a cockroach

I woke up this morning, seeing Angel on the kitchen sink and wondering why he was resting there. I was happily snapping photos of him until I saw the source of his fascination or his wait. Yikes a cockroach! Luckily super Mom woke up shortly after and she quickly caught Big Brown Winged Creature using a plastic bag. Mom asked how I'm going to stay on my own. I said if I'm alone, I will do it!

It's so easy to take photos using the iPhone that I have been running out of space and have to delete some of the old photos. These are some that I will view now and then and smile :)

Badminton and dinner on Sunday

After sweating and feeling the start of aching muscles from the badminton game, my friend, her little boy and I had a nice dinner at a hawker centre.

Buttermilk pancakes

I tried my hands at making pancakes in 2 flavours, chocolate chips and banana. I'm glad they turn out quite nice according to me and S. I'm waiting for my sis and parents to eat them and let me know if they like the pancakes too.

Angel's beautiful fur

Strangely Angel's fur has grown nice and thick since Cinnamon stays with us. previously some parts of his fur were balding or had red bumps which the vet thought he was stressed. It seems like the presence of Cinnamon is doing good to Angel's self-esteem. He can chase her without fearing her and sometimes she retaliates by chasing him back. At least they can tolerate each other's existence most of the time.

Colourful Friday

My lunch this afternoon and the dress I wore to work together with the dragonfly pendant from sis. They helped to perk up my day!

Lunch @ Angus House

It was our belated birthday treat for a friend yesterday. They almost changed their mind about going to Angus House @ Ngee Ann City as they thought I'm not a fan of beef. I don't eat that often but I don't mind trying a new place. We are glad we went there. The food was quite yummy, plus pleasant atmosphere and service.

Iced drinks on a hot day

@ Chokeful of Beans cafe @ Changi Village, I had iced chocolate. S' iced latte had a cute rabbit on it.

Visiting Oreo & other cats

Lingcat has been helping me to take care of Oreo for more than a month as he had lung infection and requires antibiotic. At one point, he wasn't eating much n coughing that he was hospitalised for a week. S and I are glad to see him recovering well - his eyes are bright. We'll let him finish his remaining course of antibiotic before letting him come back. The cats at Lingcat's place have lovely personalities and wanted our attention while we were there.

Chrysanthemum tea and pig trotters

I made a hot cup of chrysanthemum tea to sip while trying to focus on some work this morning. The weather has been rather gloomy, so my jogging session was cancelled and I had S' pig trotters for dinner instead.

Pretty shoes

I was just browsing around the shops at Ion while deciding what to eat for lunch yesterday. I popped into the Clarke store and was attracted to this pair of shoes. They feel comfortable on my feet and I like the print and look of the shoes, so I bought them :)

Bob sometimes will rest his head on my pillow before I switch off the light and go to bed :)
