Playing with my Olympus camera at Punggol Promenade
It was quite hot when we reached Punggol Promenade before 11am this morning, but that didn't stop me and sis from snapping away with our cameras while mom and dad were armed with umbrellas :) The photos were taken with my Olympus E-PL1 with the normal 14-42mm lens as well as another Olympus OM macro (50mm, f3.5) lens and adapter.

Red dragonfruit
I've only started eating dragonfruit after mom introduced the red flesh one to me. I like how the lomo photo brings out the colour and the juice looks like water colour painting.

Sunrise at Angkor Wat
I have been in Siem Reap for a meeting with my colleagues since Monday afternoon. Yesterday morning we woke up early so that we can catch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. It gave me the opportunity to use my Olympus Pen :)

Pretty shoes
I was just browsing around the shops at Ion while deciding what to eat for lunch yesterday. I popped into the Clarke store and was attracted to this pair of shoes. They feel comfortable on my feet and I like the print and look of the shoes, so I bought them :)

DIY spa
Yesterday I painted my nails and today I pampered myself with a goat's milk salt body scrub and face mask :)

Gift wrappers
On the few occasions where I have to wrap up the gifts for friends, I will activate my stash of wrappers I have saved from old gifts, sis' overseas packages or colourful magazines. I haven't bought any wrappers for the past few years and feel a sense of satisfaction giving the old wrappers a new lease of life :) This gift will be mailed to my friend in US soon.

Dragonfly wings
Sis has noticed the dragonfly corpse near her office for the past 2 days and only mustered the courage to ask her colleague to help her cut the wings off the body. When I asked her if I can take a look at the body too when she reached home, she said her colleague accidentally cut off the head and threw away the body and head. I remember when we were young, mom taught us how to hold the dragonfly's wings gently to take a closer look before releasing it. Nowadays we seldom get to see the beautiful dragonflies flying around. If sis is successful, she may get a nice imprint of the wings on her silver jewelry.

Sister the silversmith
Sis has been making silver jewelry for herself, a few close friends and me. I like wearing her creations - earrings, pendants and rings and I don't have to buy any for myself anymore :) These are just some of the beautiful stuff Sis has made for me so far.

Pretty flowers in the park
Mom spotted a few chive-like flowers in the park. We also saw some dragonflies which were a welcome sight, as we haven't seen them in the park for ages.

Beautiful morning
Colourful clothes on bamboo poles were out this sunny morning. Mom and S were catching up under the shady part of the park while I was fascinated by the speckled sunlight falling on the ground.

Twinkle, twinkle, little stars
This is the song that a 6-year-old girl likes to sing to Oreo when she pets him as she and her family take a walk in the park. Last night she gave some of her stars (folded by her grandma) to me and mom for us to play with. So sweet of her :)

Lanterns in the park
They are pretty but I wonder they are for the people or more for someone gracing an event this Sunday. Oh well, I will just enjoy them and don't think too much.

I got 2 covers for my iPhone from Chinatown. I shall keep them aside and stick to my current pink one, untill I feel like changing to one of the new ones to match my mood :)

Pretty flowers in park
We rejoice when the old gardener is not on duty this week to prune the plants and snip away the blooms.
