Turning 34 yesterday

I have given myself a big present earlier, received birthday wishes from friends and colleagues, played with the thoughtful gift from S, spent the day with my loved ones and baked coffee butter cake and cinnamon cookies :)

Cute bag and Artichoke

Dawn gave Lingcat and me a cute shopping. Artichoke is a pleasant place to hang out and the service staff were attentive.

Blythe dolls and my new bag

I had dinner with FR and SP at Hediard Cafe Restaurant at Tudor Court. Before the food arrived, we admired the dolls and there was a gift presentation. I received my Christmas gift number 2, a reversible bag from the girls :)

Pretty Japanese bowls

S bought these pretty Japanese bowls from OG Chinatown as he remembers my parents will keep dinner for me when I return home after work. I like :)

My cool new bicycle

S gave me this lovely second hand bike he has refurbished. He changed its grip handles, saddle, pedals, gear and polished its aluminum frame. For a start, I'll cycle my new toy around the little park nearby since I'm quite a lousy cyclist :)

Christmas cards and gifts

This year i received 3 cards and a few gifts from different friends. I'm very glad that there were no gift exchanges, so that we don't have to crack our brains to get something within a budget. We just get whatever we want for whoever we want. I think the best gift is our friendship :)

Early Christmas presents

Sis made me these lovely dragonfly wing pendant and earrings.

 

HM gave me the gift early so that I can use one of the items (the socks) for my Taiwan holiday next week. I won't be using the cute mug anytime soon since the ones at home and office are still in good condition. The tin container will be useful to hold my little stuff although HM has meant for it to be my coin bank to save up for my dream home.

I was telling A as we grow older, we seem to want and buy less things. Maybe partly because my friends keep getting me gifts too :)

Fun with honey

The Blue Hills Honey will replace Happy Sheep Honey soon :) I forgot how beautiful the lomo photos can be until sis reminded me how the morelomo app can make use of the background colour to influence the colour of the subject. The honey jar looks interesting in the various colours :) a bit of fun before I start working later.

プレゼント Gifts

I got myself a vain gift - 10 cool bottles of nail polish in cool colours - which FR helped to order online. FR also bought this postcard from Macau with an interesting caption at the back. The pretty white cat picture is actually a mirror and the pouch can hold my iPhone - both are from S. My friends are contributing to my collection of cat stuff :)

Bag for all occasions :p

It's not really a bag that one would carry wearing office attire, but I don't really care as long I don't look sloppy. The bag is big enough to put in many stuff too :) I love it as it's an old gift from Sis and there are cats on it.

Happy gifts for me

The slippers/sandals are to replace the old pair I threw away recently after I stepped on dog poo. The pencil case is a nice reminder :)

Another new clothes for my iPhone

Doesn't it look cute? :) Now my iPhone has 4 covers.

Bob and the other "cats"

Bob was curious about the cat figurines from Penang and the embroidered cat glass plate from China. Both are gifts from 2 friends. The embroidered cats have the colourings similar to Bob's and Angel's fur. The cat figurines are like miniatures of Bob :)

Penang souvenirs and ramen lunch

My friend, HM got me quite a variety of souvenirs from his recent Penang holiday. The 2 cute cat figurines remind me a little of Bob :) We had lunch @ Ajisen Ramen @ Square 2 in between shopping. The food wasn't too bad for the price we pay. At least it wasn't overwhelmingly salty and I didn't detect very strong porky taste.
