Cloud in lomo photo
I like the blue background behind Cloud who is a dear cat. He's friendly to us but wary of strangers.
Oreo doing well
Someone has asked recently about Oreo, so this morning I took a few photos of him after feeding him breakfast. His fur is longer and poofy, so I have been trying to trim his fur on weekends' mornings. I hope I don't have to send him for grooming since it's not good for Oreo to be under general anasthesia on a half yearly or annual basis. But I can only do the trimming when Oreo is busy eating and be careful not to get scratched by him. A few other residents also will feed him occasionally. However, with the recent rainy season, his "fans" have stopped visiting him. Oreo still has me and parents who will faithfully see and feed him rain or shine.

Baking cookie & cream cupcakes
I bought a packet of organic sandwich cookies but find the cream too sweet, so I hunted for a recipe that could use the cookies as one of the ingredients. There are many recipes to choose from but I pick one that looks appealing and is easy to make. Looking at them in cute casings put me in a happy mood :) The cupcake tastes not bad and would be better if my itchy fingers didn't reduce the sugar amount.
Black Mama in lomo photos
She still seems to miss her sister, Cinnamon, meowing and looking around. We are glad to see her looking healthy with her fluffy fur.

Gathering @ the park in the rain
Last Sat evening, we had the park to ourselves due to the rain. But everywhere was wet and we had to dry Shadow's fur with a piece of cloth. Mom and I stayed longer to keep them company and warm.

Visiting Oreo & other cats
Lingcat has been helping me to take care of Oreo for more than a month as he had lung infection and requires antibiotic. At one point, he wasn't eating much n coughing that he was hospitalised for a week. S and I are glad to see him recovering well - his eyes are bright. We'll let him finish his remaining course of antibiotic before letting him come back. The cats at Lingcat's place have lovely personalities and wanted our attention while we were there.

Visiting Fat mama with S
Yesterday afternoon, we sayang Fat Mama who seemed to love our attention. Fat Mama also surprised us by leaving her cage. Usually she would just peer out when we leave the door open. She walked with a visible limp which isn't surprising. She was sniffing around the area and would hiss a little when a few cats came too close to check her out. When we left, she was resting at a corner. We think it's good for her to stretch and exercise her legs outside of her cage. Bob will be meeting her soon when I am away in Taiwan for 5 days. Hope they can get along.

Shadow and the rain
Shadow hid in the bushes when it was raining this evening. Dad managed to get her to follow him to the sheltered pavilion. It's good to see her safe and sound. We waited till the rain was subsiding before we left Shadow grooming herself.

Goodbye, Three? :(
Three has been missing for the past few days ever since a heavy downpour on Fri afternoon. She usually hides in the drain in the park, but she will appear rain or shine, day or night. I miss her running and weaving between my legs, trying to bite my hand when I try touching her, rubbing herself against my legs when I squat, rolling around on her back when she's relaxing.
She's the only community cat we can't touch like the others but we love her because she's part of the family.

Maple the new community cat
She appeared a few weeks ago with a left tipped ear (i.e. already sterilised). We don't know if she is an abandoned pet cat or somehow just wandered into our estate. She is friendly and was seen at a few different blocks until she was mysteriously found at the block near Kiki's hide-out. Now she seems to be settling there and has been sleeping inside a bicycle's basket.
Kiki eating & relaxing
Kiki greeted me with her cute meows before I fed her some dry kibbles. She remained in her relaxed pose while eating :)
Oreo resting @ my feet
The cats never fail to bring a smile to my face. After eating his can of wet food, Oreo in one of his rare moods, rested @ my feet, rubbed his head against my legs and let me stroke him :)

S' gift for Oreo
About 2 months back, S has done up this chair for Oreo to hide out or rest, but Oreo has only taken an interest to it recently. He looks so comfortable there :)
This last photo is taken by S to show his other efforts - sticking the Oreo cookie packaging to the cabinet next to the chair :)
